Viewing your Common Assessments

Modified on Thu, 26 Feb at 8:25 PM

Once a Common Assessment is created, assigned users can access it from the Common Assessments page in Wayground.

Where to find your Common Assessments

The Common Assessments page is the central hub for viewing all your assessments.

For Teachers

  1. Open Wayground and sign in to your account.

  2. From the left-hand navigation bar, click Sessions.

  3. Under Sessions, select Common Assessments.

For Admins and Assessment Coordinators

1. Open Wayground and sign in to your account.
2. From the left-hand navigation bar, click Common Assessment.

On this page, users can see all Common Assessments shared with them, grouped by status:

  • Active: The active testing window between the start and end times. Teachers can administer the Common Assessment, and admins can begin tracking participation and performance data in reports. You can only edit the 'End Date' for the Common Assessment during this time. Other edits are not allowed.
  • Scheduled: The period between creation and the official start time. You can edit both the content and session settings during this phase.
  • Ended: After the end time has passed. No new sessions can be started, and reports now contain final data for analysis.

Users can also search for an assessment by name using the search box in the top right, or filter assessments by subject, grade, date, or creator

Users can click on a specific Common Assessment from this page to go to its details from where they can:

  • View its details such as creator, start and end date and global settings
  • Setup Accommodations
  • See which classes or students have started or completed the assessment
  • Start new class sessions (for Active assessments)
  • Resume previously started sessions
  • View class-level reports (based on permissions)
  • Access the associated assessment resource, if allowed by the creator
