With Wayground AI, you can import quizzes and questions from various sources to create an Assessment/Quiz in minutes. 

Upload or import a document, spreadsheet, or Google Form, or simply paste your existing questions — then personalize and enhance the Assessment/Quiz as much as you’d like.

How does it work?

There are five ways to let Wayground AI automatically generate an Assessment/Quiz for you:

• Extract questions from a document: Upload a PDF, PPTX, DOC, DOCX, PNG, or JPG file, and Wayground AI will extract questions from it to create an interactive quiz.

• Paste questions: Copy and paste question text from any source for Wayground AI to convert into a quiz.

• Import a Google Form: Pull questions directly from a Google Form to build an Assessment/Quiz.

• Upload a spreadsheet: Import questions using a spreadsheet that follows the provided template.

• Upload images: Take pictures of physical worksheets, and Wayground AI will convert them into Assessments/Quizzes.

Once your Assessment/Quiz is generated, you can fully edit it — modify question types, add or remove options, and include images, videos, or audio clips.

Extract questions from a document

To import questions from a document for Wayground AI to create a quiz:

1. Select Import worksheets/questions from the creation lobby.

2. Choose Document.

3. Click Upload from Device or Import from Drive to select your file. You can also drag and drop it.

4. Choose preferences such as subject, grade, question count, language, and question types.

5. Click Generate quiz.

6. Once generated, click Edit on any question to make changes — update text, question type, media, or options.

   • Existing images from your file will be added automatically, but you can edit or delete them.

   • Always review generated content, as results may occasionally need correction.

7. Click Publish from the top right corner to save your new Assessment/Quiz and start or assign it.

Copy and paste already existing questions

To create an Assessment from copied text:

1. Select Import worksheets/questions from the creation lobby.

2. Choose Paste questions.

3. Paste your questions and answers into the text box.

4. Click Generate Questions.

5. Edit, modify, or enhance the generated questions as needed.

6. Click Publish to save and assign your assessment.

Import a Google Form

To import questions from Google Forms:

1. Select Import worksheets/questions from the creation lobby.

2. Choose Google Form.

3. Click Import from Drive and select your desired form.

4. Wayground AI will import and generate questions automatically.

5. Edit questions as needed — you can modify types, add options, or insert media.

? Imported Google Forms generate Poll question types (ungraded by default). You can change these during editing.

6. Click Publish to save and assign your assessment.

Upload a spreadsheet

To import from a spreadsheet:

1. Select Import worksheets/questions from the creation lobby.

2. Choose Spreadsheet.

3. Upload your spreadsheet using Upload from Device.

   • Ensure it follows this template.

4. Review and delete unwanted questions, then click Continue.

5. Edit and enhance your questions as needed.

6. Click Publish to save and assign your assessment.

Upload images using the Wayground mobile app

To create an assessment by capturing pictures of worksheets:

1. Open the Wayground app on your smartphone and go to Explore.

2. Choose Click a picture of worksheet.

3. Upload the images of your worksheet.

   • Click Add more to include more pictures.

   • Click Retake to replace any picture.

4. Click Done, then Create Quiz.

5. Once Wayground AI generates the questions, edit them and click Save Quiz.

Notes

• File uploads

  • Only one file can be uploaded at a time.

  • Supported formats: PDF, PPT, PPTX, DOC, DOCX, JPG, PNG.

  • Only the first 16,000 characters of the file are processed.

• Text input

  • Up to 10,000 characters can be pasted at once.

• Accuracy

  • Wayground AI is constantly improving but may occasionally generate inaccuracies. Always review content before publishing.
